Want to build power and strength with one simple swing?

The kettlebell is a cast iron or cast steel weight which is used to perform all types of exercises. We love it at Sweat! because it really does work everything!

Try the kettlebell swing- this exercise builds power and explosiveness in the hips and lower body. It also increases strength in the lower back, core and shoulders.

The kettlebell and treadmill workout:

  • Walk/jog/sprint at a pace which feels like a level 6 on a scale of 1-10 of how hard you can work (1 being the easiest) for 1 minute.
  • Step off the treadmill and perform 12 kettlebell swings.
  • Rest for 30 seconds and repeat 3 more times.
