Boxing is the ultimate full body workout and even if you don’t want to join in a class just yet, you can get the benefits by adding some boxing into your normal routine.

Boxing is the ultimate full body workout and even if you don’t want to join in a class just yet, you can get the benefits by adding some boxing into your usual routine. All of clubs have access to Boxing training zones even when there are no classes running so now is the time to give Boxing a try!

If you didnt know, benefits of boxing include fat burning, improved cardiovascular fitness, increased muscle tone, improved core stability and stress relief to name a few. If you’ve never tried it before, don’t worry, once you get those gloves on and you throw a few punches you’ll be hooked!

We recommend you bring your own gloves for your own workout but if you join in a class we do provide them. Why not try this boxing combo as part of your usual workout and let us know how you feel afterwards!

 

Warm up:

10 x jab and cross on the bag

10x air squats

Repeat 3 times

Work out:

10 x jab and cross on the bag

5 x burpees

10 x left and right uppercut on the bag

5 x high knees

10 x hook and uppercut on the bag

5 x sit ups

Rest for 1 minute

Repeat x 2

(Don’t forget to cooldown if you have finished your workout!).
