New Les Mills Instructor - Sarah
We'd like to give a warm welcome to Sarah! The new instructor that will lead Les Mills BODYATTACK and GRIT STRENGTH new classes.
Tell us a bit about yourself…
I've been working in the fitness industry for 10 years and started teaching 8 years ago! I took part in a BODYPUMP class and absolutely loved it! After training to become an instructor in BODYPUMP, BODYATTACK, CXWORX & GRIT I was lucky enough to be invited to a boot camp at Les Mills Head office in London and I am now a presenter and trainer.
What made you become an instructor?
My parents have always been regular gym goers and I went along to a step class when I was about 15, I absolutely loved the experience and was totally inspired by the instructor who is now a very close family friend. After some encouragement, I took the leap and booked my ETM course and haven't looked back since!
What’s your favourite track to teach?
It's very hard to pick my favourite but I do love the squats & back track in BODYPUMP - the music is always so motivating & you can just lose yourself in the workout. The energetic music in BODYATTACK always puts me in the best mood too and I love the energy that brings to the studio.
Most unusual item in your gym bag…
My gym bag is always absolutely packed - usually with far too many pairs of Reeboks which are my guilty pleasure :)
Most likely thing to hear in your classes…
I do love a good woohoo in BODYATTACK! I absolutely love to coach people so you will hear me motivating and pushing people to do their best!
What’s your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is definitely chocolate and peanut butter (so if you bring me Reece's pieces you are guaranteed to get a happy Sarah!)
I absolutely love teaching group fitness and can't wait to meet the members in SWEAT! Glasgow and I help them discover just how amazing it is! Join me every Thursday at Lunchtime starting 18th May.
