The New Matrix Timetable!
Come and try out the new classes at The Matrix Open Day - 28th February 2018!
Our HIIT training zone, The Matrix, is a fully equipped gridded area which offers instructor led, small group classes lasting between 20 and 30 minutes. This February we are launching a brand new Matrix timetable which will focus on 5 different areas of training: primal movement for mobility, HIIT training for cardiovascular fitness, core focus to improve performance and prevent injury, circuit training for conditioning and finally strength building. We want to offer our members a well- rounded training schedule and in a shorter amount of time than traditional group exercise classes. Keep your eyes peeled for the timetable launch but for now, here are the 5 new class descriptions to whet your appetite:
Release your inner fierce in our ‘Warrior’ class where you’ll be pushed to your max! Using the principles of high intensity interval training (HIIT) our trainers will lead you through a number of stations designed to condition you aerobically. Burn up to 500 calories in this 30 minute class.
Improve your mobility and strength in our ‘Primal’ class. Inspired by movements from the animal kingdom, our trainers will have you lunging, squatting and crawling your way through this 30 minute class. Be prepared to Sweat! as the movements test you aerobically as well!
Be prepared to rock your body in this full throttle circuit class. Using our Matrix zone equipment such as skill mills, battle ropes, TRX and sand bags, this class burns fat and defines muscle. Burn up to 500 calories in this 30 minute class.
Target your core area in this 20 minute class held on The Matrix. Using a mixture of bodyweight and our Matrix kit this class is designed to build a solid core helping you to prevent injury while working on your beach ready six pack!
Improve your strength from week to week in this class which focuses on 5 main lifts: deadlift, bench press, overhead press, squat and bent over row. Our trainers will take you through technique and strength work before coaching you through a strongman circuit.
